- His age, because women prefer older men (male role as provider)
- His physically attractive traits (muscle, teeth, hair, masculinity) to indicate good genes
- Career and earning potential; positive personality traits, e.g., reliability¬¬¬—indicates ability to contribute to stable environment to rear children
