For each of the following, indicate whether it will cause vasoconstriction or vasodilation of the systemic arterioles, or neither.

Oxygen. (B)
Carbon dioxide. (A)
Hydrogen ions. (C)
Sympathetic nervous system activity. (A)
Parasympathetic nervous activity. (B)

A. vasoconstriction
B. vasodilation
C. neither

Not too sure of the answers... sort of iffy on the hydrogen ions.

Definitely didn't receive clarification from the teacher.  So, with that being said, does it look good?  BBBAC??

I've read that if the sympathetic nerves are severed, vasoconstriction in the area will be reduced and vasodilation will occur. So somehow the sympathetic nerves play a role in the physiology behind this.
