Many traditions were lost to the Germanic tribes in the Middle Ages as they merged with Christian Roman civilization. What was not lost to them?
 
  A) The Germanic tribes retained the pagan worship they had always practiced; now, however, it fused with Christian worship.
  B) Tribal assemblies were lost, but popular participation in government was retained.
