Im working on my review questions for my midterm and I cant seem to figure out if the effect of tissue edema on O2 and CO2 exchange between blood and the surrounding cells would have an increasing or decreasing rate on gas exchange? Im assuming decreasing because edemea causes an increase in tissue fluid.

Also does do these cause decreasing or increasing rates on gas exchange?
The effect of reduced systemic venous PO2 on O2 exchange within the lungs.
The effect of a fall in atmospheric PO2 on O2 exchange within the lungs.
