If you need choose best kind of binoculars, the most important things to consider are:

1. What is the primary purpose of using the binoculars?

Which binoculars you choose to purchase should depend largely on what you're planning to do with them. For instance: travel hiking, bird watching, water activities, etc. For daytime activities, compact binoculars are generally preferred. Small enough to be stored in a pocket or around your neck, these lightweight options are perfect for a hike or climb. Compact devises don't offer the best light collection, but they make up for it with a wide field of view and decent magnification.

2. What is your Budget?

Top quality binoculars give you a pristine image in a comfortable, durable package. Lower price ranges also offer some great options, thanks to technological advances in the last decade. You need to make sure your budget range.

3. How to evaluating a Pair of Binoculars?

1) Choose binoculars with a 7x to 10x magnification for general use.

Note that the higher the magnification of your binoculars, the dimmer the image will be. Although the image you see will be larger, your field of view will narrow and it’ll harder to keep the image focused. If you choose binoculars with 10x magnification or greater, get a pair with a tripod socket so you can mount and steady your binoculars when needed.

2) Consider water-resistant binoculars.

If you don't plan on using your binoculars in bad weather or in conditions where they'll get wet very often, you can get by with water-resistant binoculars. If you plan to take them along whitewater rafting or skiing, get waterproof binoculars instead.

3) Flexibility.

Flexibility is another very significant thing that you need to keep in mind before going for the binoculars for hunting. Flexibility means being able to adapt and move to anywhere at any time. It’s one of the prime needs from a hunting binocular.

The hunting binoculars should be not too big, easy to handle, comfortable to carry and also not too heavy. The binocular should be very flexible to provide you great support at the time of hunting.

4) Whether the binocular has Good Quality Optics?

A quality prism and good optical coating gives good image clarity. Better the quality of the lens as said before the price mounts. The quality of the optics depends on the coating that prevents the reflection/glare. There are several types of optics that differ in prices according to the coatings like coated, fully coated, multi coated and fully multi coated. A highly coated lens will give the viewer the best image quality.
