Clear the tarsals, metatarsals, and toes. Stand at the end of the table, support the plantar surface of the recipient’s foot with one hand, and place your other hand, thumb on the hallicus side, with palm down and encompass the dorsum. Using LF pressure, stretch the skin up toward the popliteal space and release. Repeat 10 to 15 times.
