The renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system

Description
Angiotensin II also encourages secretion of ADH and causes  an increase in thirst, thus elevating blood volume and pressure.
1. Angiotensinogen made by the liver circulates in the blood. It is converted to angiotensin I by renin, an enzyme relased by kidney arterioles when the blood pressure declines.
2. Another enzyme converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II.
