¿Existe una manera de modificar un receptor hormonal, como el IGF-1?

Hola, ultimamente he leído varios ensayos acerca del papel del IGF-1 en el cuerpo y su relación con cáncer y me gustaría saber más acerca del receptor del IGF-1 y si este se sustituye con otro que inhiba sus acciones mitogénas.
