First question

In mice V and M are genes on the same chromosome but separated by 65 map units. What fraction of the progeny from the cross VM / vm   x  vm / vm are
VM / vm  ?

i said its 25% ?

2) The genes for mahogany eyes and ebony body are 25 map units apart on chromosome 3 in Drosophila. Assume that  a mahogany-eyed female was mated to an ebony-bodied male and the resulting F1 phenotypically wildtype females were mated to mahogany, ebony males. Of 1000 offspring what would be the expected phenotypes and in what numbers would they be expected? Choose all the appropriate options that will make a complete answer. (Hint: the number of offspring should add to 1000).
