Hey! A few questions, any help much appreciated!  Grinning Face

1)
I was wondering if blood comes in direct contact with enzymes?
More specifically, if salt levels in blood increased, would this have a direct impact on catalase enzymes?

2)
Is 0.9% salinity the optimum condition for catalase?

3)
Do high concentrations of salt (sodium chloride) denature enzymes? Or do they become inactive due to another reason?

That's the correct amount for nearly all enzymes, so it's a safe bet to assume so with catalase.

Salts interfere with intramolecular interactions mediated by non-covalent forces such as hydrogen bonds, van der Waals forces, and hydrophobic interactions, which, at high cosolvent concentrations, results in protein denaturation.
