1 -- The patient with hypocalcemia is at risk for injury for possible laryngospasm, cardiac dysrhythmias, or convulsions. The nurse must frequently monitor airway and respiratory status, cardiovascular status, and neurological status. The other options (2, 3, and 4) are not appropriate nursing diagnoses.
