How does neurofeedback differ from biofeedback?

▸ Neurofeedback has a much longer history as a stress management technique than biofeedback.

▸ Biofeedback has produced proven results; neurofeedback is more of a "fringe" technique.

▸ Neurofeedback addresses control of neurotransmitters and glial connections; biofeedback focuses on modifying white blood cells and hormones.

▸ Neurofeedback focuses specifically on training people to control brain activity; biofeedback can focus on many different bodily systems.
