I earned my A.S. in Physics and was wondering what type of jobs I could qualify for. Granted the intention of the associate of science is to transfer to a four year university, what, if any, jobs would value the degree?

Not much. Get your butt back in school and get that BS degree. Then get your masters. Then get your PhD. Then you will have a great job with a big company or govt. lab.  Who knows, you could create a new propulsion system that makes the internal combustion engine obsolete.

technical assembly work is an ok place to start.  With a BS you can work your way up from there. with an AS you just wont be able to get as far as fast.  OF course it depends on your other job history.

Close to nothing. Try selling burgers and stacking merchandise. Your "degree" is worth nothing in science and engineering. If I were you, I wouldn't even mention it to an employer because the inevitable next question would be "Why did you stop there and did not get a real degree?". You will have no good way to answer that question.

Get at least a master of science or engineering. Nothing below that matters for any type of real career.
