I have 2 equations that I need to solve using the square root property. 2x^2-5=93 and (x+4)^2=81 and I need to explain how I got the answers.  How would I do this?

quadratic equation
2x^2 - 5x - 93 = 0
x = [ 5 +- sqr(25 - 4(2)(93) ) ] /4
x = - 5.68271 . . . .  and . . . x  = 8.18271

(x+4)^2 = 81
x^2 + 8x - 65 = 0
x =[ -8 +-sqr(64+ 4(65)) ] / 2
x = - 13 .  .  .  . .  . and . . . x = 5
