When you are performing genetic testing of dominant and recessive alleles, how many offspring would you want to produce in all crosses before you feel confident enough to infer the pattern of inheritance? Please explain your reasoning.

For a single gene, I would say four due to the number of possibilities per gene that follow mendelian genetics.
