The PhysioEx experimental muscle stimulation differs from the in vivo stimulation via the nervous system even
though the graded muscle response following both stimulation methods is similar. Which of the following is/are true regarding this difference in stimulation methods? (Choose all that apply)

A. In vivo, the nervous system increases the voltage going to a muscle to achieve a stronger contraction.
B. In vivo, the nervous system stimulates each cell individually via a motor unit.
C. In the lab experiment, the outer surface of the muscle was electrically stimulated causing electricity to
spread throughout the muscle and stimulate more cells as the voltage was increased.
D. In the lab experiment, the nerve attached to the muscle was stimulated and as more voltage was applied
more motor units were recruited.

I've been wrapping my head around this question and I've gone back through each virtual lab and I can't for the life of me figure out what the answers would be.  I feel like it's under my nose.

I feel like the answer is leaning towards A & D, but I'm not 100% sure and was hoping for a few second opinions.

Just wanted to add I found out the answer was B and C.  Tried to edit my original post, but couldn't find the option.
