How do antiulcertive medications work? List one medication that is a proton pump inhibitor and one H2 antagonist and list one educational aspect to the medication that you would provide to the client?

they work in different ways for instance, histamine 2 receptor blokers  such as Tagament  or Zantac  block the action of histamine on the H2 receptors and then reduce HCL acid secretion. PPI or proton pump inhibitors such as Prilosec or Prevacid block the ATPase enzyme that is important for secretion of HCL acid. They are more frequently used because also promote ulcer healing.
