If app selection is important to you, and consistent updates, the iPhone 5 is the safer choice. However, if you want to be different and help an up and coming ecosystem the Blackberry Q10 could be worth you while. Considering both phones are different in power and physical aspects, its important to choose what you're looking for in a phone ex: screen size, display, battery power, camera. I personally love the iPhone ecosystem and have used Blackberry in the past, however, I'm much more please with my iPhone than my previous Blackberry.
