A digest-size magazine’s approximate dimensions are 5½ inches X 7¼ inches (14 cm X 18.4 cm), with a two-column printing format. Reader’s Digest/Sélection du Reader’s Digest is a good example of this type of format. The dimensions of a standard-size magazine are 8 inches X 11 inches (20.3 cm X 27.9 cm), with a three-column format. Among the popular magazines that appear in this size and format are Maclean’s, Chatelaine, Canadian Business, and Canadian Geographic.
