Im in second year of biological sciences and in 3rd year i have to specialise in either Neuro or Biochem. I think I would be a lot more interested in Neuro but i think the biochem would be a bit more useful? I dunno whether to go with what I like or do go with the more practical one. These are the links fo both courses in my college.

Any positive feedback from anyone who knows what they're talking about would be great

Go with biochemistry. 1st it's more interesting, 2nd it is more practical for everyday life, and 3rd there are far more positions pertaining to this field in comparison to neuroscience. I would, however, suggest taking a neuroscience course just for the fun of it. If you want to become a general practitioner, biochemistry will surely help you out much more. It's one of my favourite topics Smiling Face with Open Mouth and Tightly-closed Eyes.
