1. The magnitude of the charge on each plate of a parallel plate capacitor is 4 μC and the potential difference between the plates is 80 V. What is the capacitance of this capacitor?
A. 8 V/m
B. 2 V/m
C. 10 V/m
D. 4 V/m
E. 6 V/m

2. A 4.0 - μC charge is situated at the origin of an xy-coordinate system. What is the magnitude and direction of the electric potential at x= 6.0m?
A. 4000 V along the +x- axis
B. 6000 V along the +x- axis
C. 1500 V along the +x- axis
D. 4000 V with no direction, as it is a scalar quantity
E. 6000 V with no direction, as it is a scalar quantity

if you use the equation Q=CV, where Q=charge,C=capacitance, and V=potential, you can find the capacitance easily:

C=Q/V=4x10^-6/80
