Five-year-old Meredith has eaten dishwasher detergent pods that are very caustic. Would making her vomit be a good idea?
 A) Yes, but only if a method other than ipecac is used.
  B) No, because caustic agents may cause severe tissue damage when they are swallowed and when they are vomited back up.
  C) Possibly, depending on how much time has passed since she ingested the pods.
  D) Yes, but for maximum effectiveness, this should be done as quickly as possible after ingestion.
