Compare and contrast land plant communities of the Triassic and Jurassic with those of the

The Triassic and Jurassic land flora were dominated by seedless vascular plants. The large seed
ferns were extinct by the end of the Triassic, but ginkgos were abundant and conifers continued
to diversify. Cycads arose in the Triassic. Angiosperms, true flowering plants, evolved in the
Cretaceous, and eventually arose to dominance.
