In general, digital clock hours and minutes can be adjusted by:
 
  A) using a second, high speed clock pulse and enabling it only during time set mode.
  B) using thumbwheel style BCD preloading.
  C) routing the seconds counter to the hours and minutes clock as needed.
  D) designing a clock set circuit to preload counter.
