ANS: C
The functional motion assessment has the client simulating the movement pattern involved in ADL and IADL activities, such as reaching overhead as if to get a plate from a cabinet. The oc-cupation-based assessment has the client actually placing or retrieving a plate from an overhead cabinet, thus requiring that the client deal with the weight, shape, and texture of the plate.
