When a response for a question is missing, the most usual coding procedure is to:
 
  A) Ignore the question for that person
  B) Leave a blank for that question when entering the data
  C) Assign a uniform code for all respondents who lack a response
  D) Assign the midpoint value of the coding numbers for each variable
