According to Giovanni Satori’s definition, why was the States’ Rights Party (Dixiecrats) a relevant party?

A) Main parties controlled the Dixiecrat platform by laundering campaign contributions to States’ Rights candidates.
B) States’ Rights candidates received major donations from super-PACs.
C) The Dixiecrat party was included in that year’s televised debates.
D) Main parties were forced to take them into account in campaigning for votes and forming coalitions.

This is for my political science class.
