Electric Field Question

A uniform electric field is created btwn two charged plates. The positively charged plate is in the y-z plane at the origin. The negatively charged plate is in the y-z plane parallel to the y-z plane at x=10cm.. The potential difference between the two plates is 300v.
a) What is the magnitude and direction of th electric field between the plates?
b) If a proton is realeased from rest at the origin, how long would it take for it to reach the negative plate?
