Is blueberry grunt a dessert that early settlers would likely have served as dessert for Christmas?

What will be an ideal response?

Blue berries were abundant in the eastern region in the summer. Blueberry grunt is a dessert of steamed dumplings and blueberry sauce. As blueberries are only abundant in the summer, it is unlikely that the settlers served blueberry grunt in the winter unless they were able to freeze them or dehydrate them to preserve them.
