Hello all, I am new to this forum. I am a senior in college currently applying to graduate schools. There is a professor at Temple whose research I am very interested in and who I have been in contact with. I am fairly certain I will get in and that he will want me to work in his lab. However, I have the opportunity to do research at other universities that may have a better reputation (not that there's anything wrong with Temple), but I am not quite as excited about the research at these other places. What would you all recommend I do?

Stick with who you know. You might go to this other institution and absolutely hate the people you work with. Your style of research may be incompatible with theirs, too.
