(Answer to #1)  C

(Answer to #2)  Those who send spam can face liability under the CAN-SPAM Act. Phishing could be considered an unfair and deceptive business practices under the FTC Act enforceable by the FTC. Those who engage in phishing can also find criminal prosecution.

(Answer to #3)  The Commercial Privacy Bill of Rights Act of 2011 is an Internet privacy bill which would impose new rules on companies that gather personal data, including offering people access to data about them, or the ability to block the information from being used or distributed. The bill would regulate Facebook, Google and other websites that collect information about users. The measure aims to protect Internet users by forcing companies to explain how they collect information and what they do with it. The bill would also make it harder for websites to target individuals through personally identifiable information and create profiles about them.

(Answer to #4)  The Red Flag Rule requires financial institutions and creditors to develop and put into operation written identity theft prevention programs.

(Answer to #5)  The Gramm Leach Bliley Act's purpose is to protect consumer financial information held by banks, securities firms, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.

(Answer to #6)  See Figure 10.1 FOIA Exemptions, codified in 5 U.S.C.  552(b).

(Answer to #7)  The celebrity could have a cause of action for false light or bring an action under a state right of publicity statute.
