Fixed Interval - One reinforcement is given after s fixed amount of time
Ex Paid by hour.

Variable Interval - Reinforcement is given after an unpredictable amount of times
Ex starving artist.

Variable Ratio - Behavior is reinforced after an unpredictable # of times
Ex gambling.

Fixed Ratio- Behavior is reinforced only after the behavior occurs a specified # of times
Ex giving dog a treat only after he preformed a command by himself.
