hi bio_man, i am posting the last 5 questions here with a screen shot of question 39 for the diagram in order to answer questions 39 &40.
#38.Genetically identical organisms derived from a single genetic source are
Select one:
a. clones
b. plasmids
c. GMOs
d. transgenic organisms
#39.Use the following information to answer the next two questions.

The following diagram outlines how the process of cloning a sheep was accomplished.

Animal Cloning

Cloning is the process of creating a genetically identical copy of another individual. With Dolly, an egg cell was removed from a donor and the nucleus was removed from the egg cell. Then cells from a sheep's mammary gland were removed from a second donor. One of the cells from the mammary gland was fused with the enucleated egg cell using an electrical pulse. The fused cell underwent cell division and at the embryo stage was implanted into a surrogate mother sheep. When Dolly was born she was an exact copy of the nucleus donor sheep.

The percentage of genetic material that the clone has in common with the donor cell sheep is approximately
Select one:
a. 100%
b. 25%
c. 0%
d. 50%
#40 i have attached the question
#41.DNA fingerprinting uses a process called gel electrophoresis to separate the fragments of DNA. Once the DNA fragments are sorted, the pattern of bands can be analyzed.

Gel Electrophoresis Procedure

The smaller DNA fragments start to move away from the wells and the larger DNA fragments remain closer to the wells.
An electric current is passed through the gel.
DNA fragments are treated with a dye.
A restriction endonuclease is added to the DNA.
Using micropipettes, the DNA samples are added to the wells.
DNA fingerprint is produced.
DNA fragments are produced.

The order in which a DNA fingerprint is produced using gel electrophoresis is
#42. I have attached the question.
