Contemporary Religion Research Paper

Approximately 5-7 pages in length. You will choose a non-majority religious tradition (not Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, or Islam) with instructor approval the first week. This paper will report on one contemporary religion, a)its history, b) scriptures, c) system of ethics and d) religious practices.  The religion must have contemporary adherents. It must include one interview with a person who practices that religion (50 points). The papers will be posted in Forum for classmates to read and to provide commentary. Once the paper is graded, you may rewrite your papers until you get a grade for which you are satisfied (time permitting) 250 points.
