Watch this:

Ok, so for this, determine what kind of sequence it is. Looks to me like geometric because there's a common ratio of 4.

32/8 = 4
128/32 = 4

From the video, the general equation is an = a1rn-1

We have:

96757023244288 = (8)(4)n-1

Solve for n:

96757023244288 / 8 = (4)n-1

log (96757023244288 / 8) = log[(4)n-1]

log (96757023244288 / 8) = (n-1)log(4)

log (96757023244288 / 8) / log(4) = n - 1

log (96757023244288 / 8) / log(4) + 1 = n

n = 22.72

22 terms, is that one of the options?
