Will it be acceptable to use regular milk instead of buttermilk/sour milk in a muffin or cake recipe leavened with baking soda WITHOUT making any other adjustments?

▸ Yes, baking soda can be used with regular or buttermilk in the recipe.

▸ No, butter must be added if regular milk is used in the recipe.
