Hi! May someone solve this problem for me?

1)M is the midpoint of a line segment with endpoints A & B. If B is locates on the y-axis, and M is on the x-axis, and the coordinates of A are (8,5). What are the coordinates of B and M?

Thank you so much I would greatly appreciate it! Slight Smile

Thank you! I was also just wondering how does 5+y divided by 2 gave us 0?

Okay, so the expression (5+y)/2 will equal to 0 since the midpoint has the coordinates (x, 0). We know that if we execute (5+y)/2, it must equal to 0 since that's what is told in the question...
