The profit, p(t), made at a fair depends on the price of the ticket, t.  The profit is modelled by the function
p(t) = -37t^2+1776t-7500,

a) What is the maximum profit?
b) What is the ticket price of a ticket that gives the maximum profit?
c) What is the break even point?

No, that was for question (a)

For question (c), set the equation equal to 0, then use the quadratic formula

i know how to use the quadractic formula. Do I figure out the discriminatn suing b^2- 4ac ? And is the final answer for c) 24 so I can check my answer

If you know how to use it, then use the formula. Who said anything about discriminant?

p(t) = -37t^2+1776t-7500

a is -37
b is 1776
c is -7500

Put those into the formula
