The "me" generation are defined by technology, social media, and globalization. Teachers are likely to find this the most technologically advanced generation ever seen. Self-esteem has generally been emphasized at school and home, and most Millennials have a very positive self-image, often leading to narcissism. These students are used to instant gratification and grade inflation. They are often lacking in library and research skills that they need for career and college readiness.
