Is food grade coconut oil (liquid form) different from a grade used as medicine for like eczema?

Maybe the one used for eczema is laboratory prepared to be more concentrated, but otherwise both contain lauric acid

You're right, don't buy it.

Since coconut oil is solid at room temperature, it wouldn't hurt to start with that as a trial run before committing to using it long-term.
