MA = Output Force/Input Force
Output Force = Weight of the truck = 12 N
Input Force = Force applied by the child = 5 N
MA = 12 N/5 N = 2.4
Therefore, the mechanical advantage of the ramp is 2.4.
The answer is (a) 2.4.
