STUDY: A researcher is interested in genetic links to panic disorder. She selects a sample of 500 people from a Psychology 101 class. Each participant is given a structured interview to determine if they have panic disorder. Two groups are created (panic disorder and no panic disorder). All participants are given a questionnaire to determine the number of relatives who have anxiety disorders.
