the male reproductive system is similar to the female reproductive system in that :
a)gonads that produce gametes are held outside the body
b)gametes are produced in high numbers (more than 100 million sperm per day)
c)the excretory and reproductive systems are joined in the urethra which transports urine and gametes out of the body
d)hormones have a major role in the development of secondary sexual characteristics
