To answer this, you need to use relevant knowledge of energy flow to support your predictions.

Dimming induced by atmospheric brown clouds is considered the major cause of the changing pattern of rainfall in Asia, with decreasing rainfall in some parts while other parts experience intense floods. Asian brown clouds are interfering with centuries old monsoon (a season marked by heavy rains) patterns with disastrous consequences for food production. The large concentration of ozone in atmospheric brown clouds could decrease crop yields by as much as 20%.

Moreover, since the Asian brown cloud has a global cooling effect on the environment, removing the problem of the brown cloud without simultaneously lowering greenhouse gas emissions could have a disastrous effect on the planet’s environment.

One weather impact it could have on regions of Southeast Asia are significant dimming as a results of atmospheric brown clouds. This dimming that is induced by atmospheric brown clouds is considered the major cause of the changing pattern of rainfall in Asia, with decreasing rainfall in some parts while other parts experience intense floods. Asian brown clouds are interfering with centuries old monsoon (a season marked by heavy rains) patterns with disastrous consequences for food production. The large concentration of ozone in atmospheric brown clouds could decrease crop yields by as much as 20%.

One weather impact the cloud may have in the Arctic is an increased melting of glaciers since these clouds increase atmospheric heating (cooler weather). Asian brown clouds carry large amounts of soot and black carbon which are deposited on the glaciers, allowing them to absorb more of the sun’s heat.
