2:  Enzymes have an optimal temperature (in humans they will have adapted for that to be about 37 degrees celsius).  A slight increase can increase activity however once it goes above a certain point it will become denatured.  This means that the 3D structure of the enzyme is no longer correct and so it cannot function properly.
