Let's say you are crossing AaBb with AaBb. The four possible phenotypes, assuming capital letters indicate dominance, are dominant A/dominant B; recessive a/recessive b; dominant A/recessive b; dominant B/recessive a.
You would, hoever, get more than four genotypes from such a cross.
