Hi I am about to finish my chemistry degree, and I'll be doing one year MSc afterwards.

I just was wondering what are my chances of finding a job in the field by only doing a master, and whether it's necessary to do a PhD to secure a job.

which branches of chemistry are the best in terms of job availability? an important issue to consider for choosing the right type of Master and perhaps the PhD.

any advice is appreicated.
