When R.J. moved to the United States from Africa to go to college, he joined an all-black fraternity. All his friends were African American, and he never made an effort to get to know people who were from a different ethnic background. Furthermore, he thought most European Americans acted as though they were entitled, and he did not have much respect for them . R.J.’s identity would most likely be considered
