The answer is osteoporosis. If you break down the work, you see "osteo" meaning bone and "por" meaning porous. Osteoporosis is a weakening of the bone. There is a delicate balance between bone deposition by osteoblasts and bone resorption by osteoclasts. If the osteoclasts are breaking down the bone minerals faster than the osteoblasts are laying it down, you have weakening of the bones, leading to osteoporosis
