cop, parole/probation officer, private security, teacher, social work.. have you thought about applying to law school? i have the same majors and am going to be a lawyer.

Sociology is very broad and prepares an individual for almost any non-technical job.  Combined with Criminal Justice, something in Law Enforcement (Police Officer, Parole Officer, Social Worker, Government bureaucrat) or Law (back to school for a J.D. to become a Lawyer) seem logical choices.  What are your interests?

go to law school and become a lawyer.  Or go to medical school or become a police officer or a criminal investigator.
